The Spartans started off December with a pair of dominating wins over Crowsnest Pass. The Spartans won the first game 16-0 and the follow up game 8-2. The next weekend the LMHA PeeWee Tournament saw the Spartans facing much tougher competition. The team started off with a win over Brooks, in a rematch of their first game of the year. The team then had two hours rest before facing a determined Elk Valley squad, losing 0-8. The next game saw the team matched against Bozeman, the eventual tournament champions. In a great effort the team came away with a 3-3 tie. The last game of the tournament saw the team go down to Medicine Hat 3-5.

The last two games of 2008 saw the Spartans take two wins over Warner in a Home and Away series. The Spartans dominated Warner winning 8-3 and 11-2. The team finishes off 2008 with a 9-2-0 league record and an overall record of 12-8-2
